Tiny Messy Hands | Sensory and messy play for ages 0–5 in Orpington and nearby
Calm, inclusive sessions for babies and toddlers, including children with additional needs.
Tiny Messy Hands offers weekly sensory and messy play for children aged 0 to 5. Sessions are relaxed, child-led, and set up to support all children, including those with sensory processing differences, developmental delays, or motor challenges.
Each week you will find themed play stations such as foam, water, colourful rice, sand, dry bins, and simple gross-motor setups. Activities are planned to encourage:
Sensory regulation
Fine and gross motor skills
Early language and communication
Confidence, curiosity, and social interaction
Parents and carers stay with their child throughout. There is a dedicated baby area for non-walkers so the youngest children can explore safely at their own pace. The focus is on simple, engaging play without pressure, and without the mess at home.
Tiny Messy Hands was created by a local mum with a background in child development. The idea grew from seeing how sensory play helped her own child. The aim is to offer meaningful, accessible sessions that support the whole child.
